So reading his profile Khamul gets will back for wounds that he causes.

So say, Khamul is on foot supported by two Easterlings with pikes fighting a lone warrior of Rohan and they win the fight. Now there are three dice to wound the warrior of Rohan.

Do you roll three dice and if any of those dice wound, Khamul gets a will back?

OR

Do you roll one die for khamul and two other dice for the Easterlings and only if the die Khamul rolls wounds does he get a will back?

Hope that question makes sense.

It gets even more confusing when Khamul is mounted on a Fell beast does the Fell beast wound or Khamul?

seeing as combats have essentially gone back to the old rules regarding spears, I would say you only get Khamul's attack back in will

on the other hands I would be inclined to say if Khamul uses the fell beasts strength he gets it back. As this just normal cavalry rules choosing the better stas to use

Though I would think he wouldn't he he elects to rend as that is clearly the fell beast doing the work

It's the Khamul model that gets the WIll points back, it doesn't matter if he's on foot, on horse or on Fell Beast, in SBG mounted models combine the profiles and use the best stats available.

So, in the case of multiple combats, you do indeed need to roll separate dice for Khamul and only his strikes regenerate his WIll.

However, if he is on a Fell Beast and charges he will get the chance to regain up to 6 points of WIll.

Rend is unaffected by this, they are still Khamul's strikes in combat.

If the Fell Beast Hurls a model then Khamul does not get any wounds back for any of the models slain.

Hope that helps.

Just edited my post, as per the latest GW FAQ, Khamul doesn't get any WIll points back for Hurling. The original GBHL Community FAQ ruling said he got one back if the Hurled model was killed but GW changed this.

Thanks heaps guys.

On a side note GW should have made a special case in his points value (and others who have similar cases)

They should have made his points value slightly cheaper for the foot model and made his mounts more expensive. He is far less useful on foot and needs a mount to be effective.
