Dwarf Longbow

Hi all,

I'm sure this is an utterly stupid question, but once I get that nagging feeling I need clarification!

The entry for Dwarf Rangers has the option for 'Dwarf Longbow' and written next to it is (bow). Is this just to clarify the type of ranged weapon it is?

And therefore does it act as a normal longbow (24inch, str 3) or as a standard bow (24inch, str 2) as they both differ from a dwarf bow.

I'm sure I've over complicated this, but I know someone on here will be able to put me out of my misery!

Normal bow, str 2 24".

I thought it was 18 inches

a dwarf bow is 18" str 3.
a dwarf longbow is 24" str 2
