I'm not sure why boromir is trapped, but yes, if you kill your target and have left over attacks you can strike against another target who was involved in the same fight. |

I think he means because when your horse gets killed you can get knocked down, and when you're knocked down you count as trapped. |

Win fight, take three strikes : 1 @ horse killing it, hero takes and fails thrown rider test. Now your second and third attack count as double, roll 4 dice to wound as you attack hero. This is a good strategy to use. If another model was on your side , it too would would get double attacks. So when resolving wounds, start with killing the horse, then the hopefully prone rider. |

Pg 51 of the big blue book says that the rider doesnt make a thrown check until after all attacks have been resolved. By that logic the rider cant fall over and become trapped until after the attack is resolved. Therefore, boromir isnt trapped. |

Ah, well if that's the case then you're right and Boromir wouldn't be trapped. |

Just to back it up using up to date rules pg 53, says the same thing. Had never noticed it before. Will have to remember that. |

So just like the book Boromir should have lived. Of course that's assuming Aragorn would have take the mantle of leader ship with out Borormir's death but I digress . Thx for the help guys. |

That would have made a great story too. Boromir urging aragorn to be a leader all the way thru rohan and to gondor. One does not simply assume the mantle of leadership |
