I have been lucky enough to acquire a mint condition model of Bill the Pony from the original range of LOTR miniatures circa 1985. This is the first model from that range I have acquired but will not be the last. The problem is that the model has 2 bars at the base, if there was just one it would be ideal as it would slot into a standard 25mm base. Due to the age and the quality of this model I do not want to make any alterations to it. I really want to stand this model. Any help would be appreciated

Honestly chopping the metal bars isnt going to ruin the value of the mini ( if there is much in it). They were cast that way for the bars to be cut.

If it was me id put him on a standard cavalry base, just pin him to it.

The bases shown are also an option but if your using bill for lotr you need a round base.

:-) he is a nice mini
