Hi I am sorry if this is a stupid question but I don't have the Hobbit SBG yet but I do have the older rule book and I was wondering how does allocation work with the old rules like if I have Boromir with 12 warriors and they are all lined up against a Mumak or a troll or something does the beast just pick who it hits or is there allocation? |

What do you mean by "allocation"? It's not a term in the game. If you mean "who does the monster hit if it wins the fight", the answer is "anyone it wants". |

I think he was referring to more of how 40k works in terms of wounding. But as Whafrog said, whoever wins the fight selects whom to roll to wound against |

It is very important that you can never strike something you aren't in base contact with. So let's say the troll charges 3 Warriors, he can only wound 3 warriors! Same for the warriors though, Boromir and the 9 others cannot fight! Hope this helps |

Boromir and the 12 warriors are each separate, they don't form a unit except when you are deploying them. |
