I know the fight value for archers has a plus sign after it but what does the plus sign mean? I realise the shoot value is the second number and is used to work out any bonus dice when shooting.
Many thanks.

It just means 3+ (3, 4, 5, 6) and is only meant for shooting. Simples :)

That's not the fight value, that's the shoot value. So a Rohan Warrior, with a profile Fight score of "3/4+" means:

Fight score of 3, helps determine who won in the case of a tie.
Shoot score of 4+, which means when rolling to hit they succeed on a 4, 5, 6.

In SBG it is as whafrog and john wayne have said. In WotR it tells you how many extra dice that company rolls when shooting - so a company of Minas Tirith archers will get one extra (page 38 of the WotR book has a table with the accuracy bonus in).

I think you mean in WotR, and I think it's just to give a similar look to SBG profiles.
