i am wondering if one of the Fellowship from "The Mines of Moria" can lead a warband, because they are in a different list.
e.g. can Legolas (from the fellowship) lead a warband of woodelves?
would be nice if you leave a comment :)

In general, heroes from one army cannot ever a warband from another army.

However, many of the fellowship heroes are leaders within their own races (for example Gimli for the Dwarves and Legolas for Lothlorien/Mirkwood). So yes, Legolas can lead wood elves because he is also part of that list.

they can with the profile given in the gondor army list, but the boromir model is the same so the one from moria should be fine. however you need king aragorn for gondor but, he could lead a arnor warband if you include his arnor stats. all the hobbits are heros in shire and i think gandalf is a wanderer in the wild but i could be wrong. hope this helps :)

The Fellowship can aslo be fieklded as a Warband entirely of heroes.

The Heroes of the Fellowship can only lead warbands of the fellowship.

However, they feature with different rules, options and profiles in the other army lists. Legolas in the Mirkwood & Lothlorienn list can be used with Galadhrim, Wood Elves and Galadhrim Knights, but Legolas from the Fellowship would be an allied warband (either of himself or leading members of the Fellowship).

So the answer is no because they are in the Fellowship army list, but yes from their own lists...

No mate same answer but Hashut has confused things a little, yes legolas can lead wood elves but if you check the relevant wargear/rules sections in the lothlorien/mirkwood section they differ from the fellowship section so if you wish to take a warband along you must adhere to the lothlorien rules not the fellowship rules, same as any other fellowship hero.

Actually, I was clarifying - Legolas from the Mirkwood and Lothlorien army selection can't lead Gimli, Sam and Frodo, but Legolas from the fellowship can.

The confusion is in the fact that they don't have different names. An easier comparison is that Aragorn - Strider can't lead Warriors of Minas Tirith, but Aragorn, King of Gondor can.

The only thing you have to knwo is that Legolas can't lead Frodo and Sam AND some Wood Elves, he can only lead one or the other. If he leads Frodo and Sam, he gains the Fellowship only rule as long as Frodo is alive. If he leads the WE, he has nothing special.
