well i think i know what it is but im not sure so could some please explain what it is also is this a grey company army list:


-Forlong the Fat
-10 warriors of the dead w shields

-Arathorn
-3 Rangers of the north
-12 rangers of arnor with spear ( rangers of middle earth)

Grey Company was an old list from the Legions of Middle Earth. Technically it doesn't exist anymore with the new rulebooks but you can replicate it by just taking certain models from the new Arnor list.

Elladan and Elrohir.
Aragorn/Strider (various incarnations).
Arathorn.
Halbarad.
Rangers of the North.
Dunedain.

Rangers of Arnor.


The list you gave as an example is a case of a Grey Company themed warband with allies from the Gondor Fiefdoms list. Arathorn and the Rangers are Grey Company, whereas Angbor and the Warriors of the Dead are Fiefdoms.

To answer your question, if I'm tracking, is ....no.

-3 Rangers of the north (IC or IH, however you wish to call em)
-12 rangers of arnor with spear ( rangers of middle earth)
Is the typical make-up for a Grey Company Warband. For each RoTN or Dunedain, you can take 4 rangers w/bows. So, for you to have a all bow army you need to follow that rule. As well as have a captain to lead each warband filled with the rangers...as long as you have the required number of RoTN/Dunedains, who can not lead warbands but are required for you to fill in a warband with max archers.



Forlong is not a option to make a Grey Company Warband, but as you listed can be a Fiefdom allied contingent.
