I am so proud of you guys for having such dedication to this hobby and I feel somewhat ashame. I have seen so many carefully painted miniatures on The One Ring that I now feel bad about mine -- not so lovingly painted, more like just enough to play. You guys have inspired me to do better, especially with basing. Just wanted to say thank you for the inspiration.

So who's work has inspired you? MacGothmog, Dead Marsh, Valpas, amongst others... There are plenty of great painters around here. When my friends come over to my place and see my hobby they're impressed by my work, I wonder what their reaction would be if they've seen the work of others on here. Some pieces I've seen in the gallery are just too insane.

Chris you just said a thing that is so true for you as it is for me

I have other hobbies beside miniatures, but I must admit this has become my favorite in a very short time. Again, thank you for the inspiration. I cannot wait to see the March painting contest entries.
