Hi all, So far I understand that in the new rules all good can ally with good (but Gondor heroes are needed for Gondor warbands, for example), and a warband consists of 1 Hero and 0-12 Warriors. Do all warbands in the army have to have max 33% bows in, or does the bow limit only apply to the army as a whole? For example, with three warbands of 12 warriors, could I have one warband all with bows and then no other bows, or would it be maximum 4 bows in each warband? Thank you in advance

The bow limit is spread accross the whole army. HOWEVER, Your allies must use their OWN bow limit. For example, your 3 warbands of gondor are fine, but if you added a 4th warband of 12 wood elves, they would have a max bow limit of 4 models and you would not be able to lend any bows from Gondor. |

What's the Grey Company's bow limit now? Do they still have the old rule? |

It's still 100%, but Dunedain and RotN are Independent Heroes, meaning they can't lead a war band but instead count as a war band of their own. So you have to take something like: WB1: Arathorn 12 Rangers of Arnor WB2 Ranger of the North WB3 Ranger of the North WB4 Ranger of the North Now all your RoA can use their bows. |

Allies and Bow Limit (Fallen Realms, page 6) "If your army is made up of allied contingents, Bow Limit is not calculated across the entire force, but separate across each allied contingen..." Example Warband 1 (Minias Tirith Contingent) Warband 2 (Minias Tirith Contingent) Warband 3 (Fiefdoms Contingent) Warband 4 (Rohand Contingent) Bow limit application: Minas Tirith, 8 bows max Fiefdoms, 4 bows max Rohand, 4 bows max NOT Minas Tirith 16 if Fiefdoms and Rohand have no bows. Please correct me if I have misunderstood the new rule. I am a beginner with high learning curve. Thanks |

Quick question just to make sure: Once you first have made your warbands and started playing, the can models can move around individually as they want, right? I mean, if I have a warband of WoMT and an allied warband of KoDA, then could the KoDa split up so some of them moved next to the WoMT, while the others were, say 16" away? |

Oh, we were just unsure if warbands had to stick together or not, since if they did, it would make a difference which warband had the infantry hero and which warband had the cavalry hero. No big deal or anything, we just had each our own opinion |
