Well as i have sorted a 500 point force for Good and Evil i want to give them a try out.

So is there any clubs that frequently, or even only, run SBG games in the Bristol area? I can drive so anything within 20 miles is fair enough. I tried at the local GW but that was all still focused on the usual 40k with the occasional game of WHFB and one or two games of WoTR, none of which interests me.

Would you be willing to meet at Westbury? There's a great gaming club there.

As that is at least 1hr 15mins away from me i will have to give it a miss, something a bit nearer to the North Somerset / Avon / Gloucstershire area would be good.

Ok. Is Bath any closer to you? There's a GW there.

Hi

I live in Herefordshire (Ross-on-Wye). May be a little too far for you :(

And as far as I am aware there are no good Games Workshops nearby that do much LOTR :(

Bath is a bit closer, but again i heard that they are like an GW and focus on 40k and WHFB with SBG and WoTR being only played by a few, unfortunatley.

As for Ross on Wye, that is again 1hr 15mins to get to minimum for me plus across the £5.70 bridge so that is again a no.

Can't find any mention of a local club, well there is one but they are into alsorts of 1/72 games and don't mention any GW games at all.

FireKnife, I don't mean to bother you, but if you were willing to meet at Bath then I'm sure we could do so at the GW there. I know they're more into 40K and Fantasy but if I phoned them it should be ok to play some LotR there.

By the way, did you want to play WotR or SBG?

Sorry, yeah am happy to meet at GW in Bath, would also make it easier to trade those Orcs / Rohirrim, obviously out of the store so they don't give us funny looks.

As for games i am up for SBG, don't have the points nor models for WoTR, not a huge fan of it really. Also my best force is my 500pts Evil force but i don't mind going up against good or evil.

SBG is good. If you'd rather play Evil that's fine too.

Good idea about the trade.

What sort of times can you make?

Once i am back on the 16th i can make anytime, anyday really.

I can bring both Good and Evil at 500pts but both forces are as yet untried so will be a very good learning experience to even play both forces.

As for the trade, well i have got the 11 Warriors of Rohan, having a difficulty finding the other 12. But can always sort something out.
