Post subject:  putting photos on forums?
hello people
i had some problems with putting photos on the forum and my gallery.
I managed to put them on but they were huge!! my friend told me to resize them but i've got no idea how to do that. Can you guys tell me what is the best FREE program to do that? prefferibly a simple one :D

please help! its getting very frustrating!!!

Upload to photobucket and hit the resize button, photo bucket will also give you the code and url to paste straight onto the forum. its free and ad free.

ok i tried that and resized the image but it doesnt show up at all, just the link

if you click on the picture then there should be on the right of the new screen an direct URL.
Try posting that one..

i used photobucket and imageshack and i even managed to resize on one of them but it still doesnt work! i just comes up with the stupid link like above

Don't think thats the correct url as thats, just click the img code to the left of the pic (or under) and paste it in.

it woks!!!!!!!!!!! by the way if anyone has the same problems, heres what you do: go to Web resizer and upload you pic on there(it takes a few seconds) then go to imageshack and upload it the and you done! :D

Think he was having trouble, once he'd re-sized it on photobucket, the link didn't work & it just gave the link instead of the picture.

but i found a way that works for me so im happy :)
