Sap Fortitude ok i had i game yesterday and opponent called a heroic move with his cpt i had the Dwimmerlaik add i rolled a 6 so we didn't know how to proceed so i let in make the move.Looking back i think he couldn't move because he had to pay 2 might right?

If he called the heroic move with his last point of might yes it would cancel the action and waste the night he already spent on it. The dwimmerlaik is very nasty in that regard.

As above - once you declare the use of your Might/Will/Fate you are committed. If Dwimmy rolls a 4+ then you HAVE to use 2 points to complete your move. If you only have one point then the action is cancelled AND you lose your one point anyway! It's a horrible, horrible ability.
