Post subject:  Elf Bridge from Thomarillion

This is the first commercial piece I can recall that has a Lothlorien or Rivendell feel to it.

The balustrades are wood, the base is ceramic. What do you guys think? It is getting there for me but not 100% - it may be convertable.

but how many hours would this take ...?
when you are doing many ones in a row (e.g. for a large elven terrain/diorama) each will be done quicker, but the concept drawing and first cutting/modelling will take some time... though, for sure, it'll be nice to do so....

I have few (other) pieces of Thomarillion and like the feel, smoothness and weight of those plastered objects.

(that elven bridge though is partly made from wood)

It's good to see a company trying something distinctively Elven in design, but I must admit the piece doesn't really 'grab' me much. I hope they continue with this theme though because there is not a lot of it around.
