Hello friends, this is my newest creation, some of you will seem familiar, is a re-modeled almost entirely on a dwarf hero I did a while, so you can print better in 3D, series of thumbnails that appear in few days starting with this miniature are five figures:

That's really cool!

One question though:

I've noticed that 3d prints often have a grainy texture - does shapeways have that 'grain' to it, or is it nice and smooth? Would it show up under paint?

(Obviously your 3d model has no grain to it, it's lovely and smooth.)

I really look forward to the time when conversion parts and full miniatures can be printed out at home. It'll be a whole new era for miniatures games - one where we have the reigns.
