what size/dimensions are those paintings? Well the Corvette is 28x22 1/2" or 71x58cm and the mountains are 24x18" or 61x45cm. The eye is 15x11 1/2" or 38x29cm The field is 19x13" or 48x33cm And the moon lit lake is 20x15" or 51x38cm |

You certainly have artistic flair, but perhaps selling your paintings on eBay isn't the right way to go about it. I'm no expert, but there are surely sites for dedicated artists in which your paintings would probably sell for a lot more cash. Also, perhaps try to sell some at 'proper' auctions to get an idea of how much to be selling your paintings for (as opposed to eBay's sometimes unfortunate results in the end). Of course, your main business is painting for your customers so don't get sidetracked .
half the time I don't even realize I'm doing something art related when in fact I'm doing it all the time! Did that make sense?
Makes sense to me! I was just wondering if you painted figures (e.g. humans, animals etc.) for your clients... Good luck with the venture!
|

As obvious as all that may seem, I never thought of that. Thats a good idea! Thanks! I've only had a few people to paint for but I suppose yes, I could do people and animals. I'm working on a portrait right now. Its my first real portait to be done in paint. Its kind of slow comming but I'll be sure to show you how it turns out. Thanks everyone! ~GoodSmeagol |
