I'm not getting her painted... i'll be doign it myself ofc i'll be getting the model for £20 unpainted (Link), not bad for a 52mm. I may have to do some extra clothing for her though |

Ah ok, well good luck with that. I think you should leave her as she is, but most female models seem to have little clothing on them. |

I must say, it mildly bugs me. Not angry, not annoyed, just...it feels silly. Granted, she's got about as much clothes and armour as an ancient gladiator, and those guys were thus attired to make the sport more exciting and give certain segments of the audience something to gawp at. So its not...overwhelmingly stupid. And similar models are amusing enough to put into a Dungeons and Dragons game, since everything is vaguely inspired by cheesy 1980s metal videos. But if I want some more serious looking models, I really don't want a bikini model, uh, model. Besides, I live in the land of the body beautiful, where people run up mountains for fun, and no one looks like that. The only people who look like that are people of a certain body type who won't look like that in five years time. But the face is beautiful. And I'd love to pick up some 28/32mm figures like that cheaply...to behead and use them to create new characters for LOTR. |

If the figure was 32mm (or 30, or 28 or whatever) I would paint the legs grey, as if wearing wool leggings. I'd file down the sword so that it would literally become like the LOTR elf blades. I might try and sculpt something onto her left shoulder. Not entirely sure what to do with the corset thing, however. |
