Thanks guys, I'm glad you like it, and you do spoil me with you your always great feedback on any of my work!

No warhammer for this update, I have been painting miniatures so much I'm taking a few days break so that I don't lose my spirit.

So instead I hit the old watercolour board and continued my work on this painting, which I have become determined to finish. I decided a while ago that I wanted a little bird on his shoulder, and I found this great picture of a red one that I decided to incorporate into the painting.
And here he sits, with a nut in his mouth thinking he owns the world. Let's call him John-Michael, the killer bird of Khorne.

By the way, the bird is a Northern Cardinal, it's native to a lot of North America. You painted him very well.

I actually changed some stuff, like adding white spots on the chest, and not including as much black. The person is none, just a face that emerged as I painted, pretty abstract the whole thing (I won't add ears or hair for example).

It's actually a very realistic depiction of a Cardinal, Kris. The crest should probably be a bit longer, but other then that, it looks just like one's I've seen.
