And by TROLLZ, I mean, I really want to use the Gundabad troll lol. I love the model, one of my favorite designs from the hobbit movies but damn, I am struggling to get it into a list. I was thinking this? At like 700? Azog's hunters Narzug w/warg (Leader) Fell Warg x1 Hunter Orc w/Horn x1 Hunter Orc x5 Hunter Orc w/warg x1 Yazneg w/warg/lance Fell Warg x1 Hunter Orc x6 Hunter orc w/warg x1 Azog's Legion Goblin Mercenary Captain Goblin Mercenary x6 Gundabad Orc Captain w/shield Gundabad Berserker x3 Gundabad Orc w/banner/spear x1 Gundabad Orc w/spear/shield x7 Gundabad Troll w/club x1 34 models, 7 might |

I think that if you are going to bring one of those trolls and not have Azog or Bulg you'd be better off to center your army on supporting the troll. While not having magic I think you have set this up well enough. You've got a couple of decent heroes and the troll for multiple threats. The troll have infantry support, a banner, and some might nearby from the captain. Plus, the goblins to bring on stuff. You have similar to better numbers than Rivendell would have most of the time at this range so your model count isn't to bad considering the higher costed models. If I were to recommend something here it might be to drop the horn for a few extra hunter orcs or a second banner with them. I don't have much experience with orcs though so you might find the horn more useful to keep troops around after breaking. |

Bolg on warg Goblin Mercenary: Armour, 8x Mercenary, Pick Gundabad Berserker: Armour, Axe, 2x Berserker Gundabad Orc Warrior: Heavy Armour, Shield, Spear, Sword, 3x Warrior Gundabad Orc Warrior: Banner, Heavy Armour, Shield, Spear, Sword, Warrior Gundabad Troll: Crushing Club, Heavy Armour, Troll Fimbul on warg Fell Warg: 3x Hunter Orc Armour, Orc, Sword Fell Warg: Claws and Teeth Hunter Orc: Armour, 2x Orc, Sword Hunter Orc: Armour, 6x Orc, Orc Bow, Sword 27 Warriors, 600 Points, 6 Bow Yeaaah, I might do something like this? I do think the horn is really really good now. There is so so so much terror, at least where I play. Lots of Cirdan, Galadriel, Army of the dead, Thranduil, ect. Not to mention, even if its just once you break getting 1-2 more turns before everything runs away is pretty huge. I didnt get it in here but meh. |

Hi Polywags, this army list seems to be - for me - better than your first one. It is somehow clearer in its construction, consisting in one heavy part and one quick part. I once had a game against an army of just three models, 2 Gundabad trolls and Azog with stone flail. They crushed my Minas Tirith troops. Very impressive! |

Heh, yeah I played an event a couple weekends ago against someone with Azogs legions, with Bolg and Azog, and I played pretty well, was holding all the objectives and killed nearly all his troops and in the last two turns of the game Azogs and Bolg nearly broke me :0 |
