What are the most creative / efficient armies to kill Smaug that you can think of? I'll start: 660pts- 2 Uruk Hai captains 7 Uruk Hai demolition squads |

Your own Smaug? I would think saruman and gandalf on horse, along with 58 hobbit militia (plus the heroes) with two thirds axes and one third clubs would be pretty effective. The demolition teams sound like a good idea, but surely you got to change one of those captains for a drummer for that extra movement. |

Laketown Survivors is the new Hobbit swarm option, but better. I'd say Windlance, of course, but if Smaug gets priority, he will toast it in one hit. |
