Dwarf Rangers 500pts

I want to do something different. I have had a bucket of rangers in my cupboard for years and added more last year. Feel like it might work with the warbands scenarios.
I know there are dwarf ranger players out there.

No, not enough points for bows and I think it is pointless now that throwing weapons are nerfed and two handed weapons are not needed (axes already available).

Unless someone else says "Actually for dwarf rangers TW are awesome" etc but for every 2 upgrades I have to drop 1 man.

I have actually very good experience with rangers both with throwing axes nad bows. The 3+ shooting works well.

I wouldn't bother with throwing weapons but bows are important.

On a 4x4 with standard missions.
Come on, give me some meat. Why are they important? Worth losing 4 dwarfs to make 9 rangers have bows?

In the standard missions im not sure the bows are that important, the close proximity and lower defense of a Ranger means you need more of them. Maybe some throwing weapons, because they have the lower strength, but thats only a MAYBE as TW has been nerfed to a 33% chance of hitting.

Idk I don't think in terms of pure numbers vs gear you could really improve this list, seems solid enough. My only concern would be facing a new Mirkwood army as I think they would be the perfect counter to this list.
Also there's the lower Defense to consider, just something to be mindful of while playing this list as the rangers cannot reach the D7 of their Warrior brethern, so Uruk-hai can probably out-last this list (Obviusly the KC and Gimli can help with that)

Well if your paying 27 points for bows and you kill 5 orcs then you've made you points back. It's a waste no taking advantage of your 3+ shoot value.

9 bows => 6 hits => 2 wounds
So I need approximately 3 turns of shooting to get the 5 kills.
