So here is what I plan to build my evil force up to:
Knight of Umbar 120pts (Leader)
12 Black numenorian Venomknights 120pts

Amdur 100pts
12 Easterlings, 6 with shields, 6 with pikes and shields 102pts

Easterling War priest 60pts
6 Easterlings with spears and shields, 6 with pikes 102pts

Easterling Captain with either bow/halberd or shield 50pts
12 Easterlings with bows 96pts
750pts
The idea is to combine the first two blocks of easterlings as one, trying to maximise the use of the warpriest's fury, if it turns out my black numenorian prices are wrong, I could give more easterlings pikes (would require converting) and possibly run them with the black numenorians as one big phalanx.
I'm hoping this could take on most good armies, in particular wood elves, I never liked the pajama clad elves before, and I must admit after seeing the Desolation of Smaug I want to show their king what his lase fair policy will get get him.

I don't have the Fallen Realms book yet but do the Easterlings now have separate spears and pikes?
But spears cannot be supported by pikes

No, Easterlings do not have separate spear and pikes, they just have pikes, only you can still use shields when you have them.

And give your Captain a shield, not a bow or halberd.

The price of your Venomblade Knights is correct. But if you are going to face elves their upgrade is completly useless. If you play with Special Strikes, personally I do not but anyway, you can just let them Feint giving you the same effect.

Or you make them one point more expensive and give them F5? Would help against Elves.

Drop the shield all together I'd say. Gives you more points for more usefull stuff, like pikes. I advice you to mount your Knight of Umbar.

Not sure what to use it for.One idea is to drop the black Numenorians and grab khamul to continue the suppression of enemy heroes, but then my force would then lack a solid warband, mind you dropping the last warband and their captain in favour of Khamul on a Fellbeast could be quite fun, and allow for the Nazgul to compete with each other Would need to get some extra points from somwhere though, not sure where though, guess I could drop the castellan upgrade, drop the priest rather then the captain and a few pikes, or just take Khamul on horse and a banner
