I have a few questions about evil models, firstly can goblins from goblin town ally with Mordor orcs? Secondly do goblins automatically get a weapon because in the book it does not say their base profile, it just says you can add a two handed axe. Lastly I wasn't sure wether you can use goblin scribe as a hero and lead a warband, this is because I have enough points for a couple more goblins but not enough for a hero, so if anyone knows if he could lead a warband, that would be great. Thank You

All units have a hand weapon automatically unless their profile specifically says they do not (like the goblin scribe).
Any evil can ally with any other evil. Yes the scribe can lead a warband as he doesn't have the independent hero rule.

James is completely right with this.
There used to be rules regarding specific allies, but since the newer sourcebooks came out its simple been Good with Good and Evil with Evil.

Hope I'm not hijacking the thread here but the comments made me want to check something about allies.

If I were to ally let's say mordor with isengard, would I have to take a captain for each contingent or do the new rules of good and evil mean one captain could lead a war band of mixed troops.
Eg. Can a mordor troll chieftain lead a war band that contains 6 mordor orcs and 6 isengard Uruk hai as they are all from the evil list?

Hey Stormcrow!

You need to have a leader/hero from appropriate list leading troops from the same list :) So Isengard Captain leads Isengard troops for example.

Hope that helps!

PS The video answering your questions goes up tomorrow as part of the Q&A… wahooo!
