So working on my conversions for the sculpting challenge this month got me thinking about Khand as well. I did some browsing around the internet for alternate figures and possible conversion ideas but before I go about getting the ingredients together I was curious what some fun and thematic lists would be utilizing the full Eastern Kingdoms list.

My thoughts were to incorporate a warband of Khandish horsemen and King on Chariot with my Easterling phalanx. Granted when I say 'incorporate,' my painting/sculpting backlog groans as that means more to add to the growing list.

I'm interested to see what combinations people have used and their thoughts.

Hi SoE,

I have a similar project but will probably not get round to it for some time due to my Hobbit miniatures back log. I suspect that it is only really worth mounting Khandish heroes on chariots.

Here's an image of the work-in-progress brigade.
I liked the idea of Khandish heroes in chariots supported by two horsemen each two whip round the flanks of enemy formations directly engaged by Easterling phalanxes.
