I would move two high elves and 1 high elf with bow to Gildors warband (changing them to two wood elves with spear and one with bow) that will bring you to 498, then you can give glaives to a couple of soldiers so they have some hitting power. This gives you more spear support/shielding capabilities as well as a couple armour cracking soldiers. |

@ Haldir: All of my heroes have Elven Blades and S4, so they provide the hitting power. Moved 2 HEWs to Gildor's warband to have WE Spears, but left the archer. It's now exactly 500pts: Erestor 6 High Elf Warriors 3 High Elf Warriors with Elf Bows Gildor Inglorion 8 Wood Elf Warriors with Wood Elf Spears 3 Wood Elf Warriors with Elf Bows High Elf Captain 6 High Elf Warriors 3 High Elf Warriors with Elf Bows 500pts, 32 Models, 9 Bows, 4 Might |

Just play tested the original list against this force: viewtopic.php?f=37&t=25944 I am happy with the original list  , as armoured elves are much better in combat than unarmoured ones, and you don't need to worry about them so much, so I will try to use the original list (my mates don't mind 1 or 2 pts over).The scenario was Lords of Battle and the Elves won 30-12. Gildor and the Captain were together for the whole match, and, in the first turn of combat, the Captain called a heroic move, Gildor transfixed the Troll, and the two of them and a High Elf charged the troll. The two heroes use dthir 2 handed weapons and they won the fight. The troll was easily killed that turn because of their high strengths and +1s to wound. The witch King was killed a while later by the same tactic -immobilise and heroic move, as the elves had priority. It took 2 turns to kill him though.  Erestor was a beast and his re-rolls helped him to kill about a dozen goblins in the game. One funny moment was when evil got broken. 3 of their heroes were already dead. THe ORc captain legged it, and so did the rest of the army, -3 goblins. That was the final turn and 1 goblin was left at the end. |

I'm a little late to this party, but nice list. I didn't think such a list was possible in 500 points, I'm always leaning towards the twins or something. |
