awsome list, but not really good, becouse you haven't got enauch soldiers (for golblims) becouse it's only defence 3 you dye easy. Drop one cave drake and put in 2 more golbim warbands led by a captain and the golblim scribe and 22 golblims of witch 2 ar 2 handed. bolg |

My advice would be to swap one drake for two moria shaman's leading some shield gobbos and maybe even a bat swarm if the points allow it. 36 goblins will be very easy for any good army to kill, sadly :/ |

I don't have any more goblins (goblin town) and don't want anymore, and the scribe is too fragile, I am aware of the lack of magic and bows but imagine the face of my opponent when he sees 3 monster heroes, I think this a for kicks list mostly though, let's see what else I can make: Goblin king 12 goblins Grinnah 12 goblins Tiny capo 12 goblins Bortruk (shaman) 6 prowlers shield 6 spear goblins Radbug (shaman) 8 goblins bow Groblog 5 spiders so that list tallies 66 bodies, 13might, 8 shots , goblin fury, flankers and a hero monster, and every one has terrain/movement bonuses |

It's a good army, I'm kinda partial to having 1 Drake, personàlly I'd take out the tiny captain. HATE that unit, doesn't look bad but he sucks for any type of movement tests, jumping, defending barriers, etc cuz that is based upon the model's height (at least it was i dont have the hobbit rules in front to confirm if it still is), and his height it pathetic. |

Maybe take one dragon, that's better then 3 shamans, you don't need 3 shamans. take the first list, switch 1 dragon for: duzburg 2 bat swarms 9 golblims (4 schild, 5 speer) Bolg |

Sorry Bolg I gotta side with James on this one, you can never have enough shamans. That said, if you have got 3, then consider swapping one for a blackshield shaman, being able to disarm an enemy hero on a 3+ makes a HUGE difference on how effective they are (-1 on all duel/wound rolls), this can essentially render even big Boromir kinda useless and all for only 50 points. |

Unarmed models only get a -1 to the duel roll. |

I never put 3 shamen in any lists on this thread, the second list has 2 shamen and Groblog for the 5+ fury and extra might, I never take durburz, when I play goblins I never even break tbh, I'm really lucky with my dice as a habit |

I also took goblog for ashdrak, because he was together with the spiders. But then it's a good list, because 2 shamans is good together with groblog. switsch the spiders to fill groblogs warband and maybe use a bad swar. Bolg PS on 700 points 3 shamans is to mutch. I have played this game for al long thime and i make good army lists. and 3 is to mutch |

The reasons I went for spiders over more green scum, they are highly manoeuvrable, have a better F than goblins and are Fun to play, I have alot of buildings for scenery and they look deadly crawling over everything |

Just a simple "I have made an effective army with less than 3 Shamen before and that's how it prefer it" would suffice. Idk it just bugs me when people try and play that card, lots of people on this site (myself included) have great gaming resumes, I'm sure mine's not the absolute most impressive on the site. Idk, not trying to go off on ya, I'm just saying. |

I'm going to disagree and say that the drakes should be fine! You will just need to take down any spellcasters with staves they have first, because Gandalf or something like that will cripple your drakes with Immobilize eventually. Also with that number of goblins I'm not sure if I would even use spears, I would go max bows and then the rest shields (maybe some spearmen for captains but that is it). Why? Screening for the drakes. They will be sacrificial units who just disrupt an enemy phalanx or block the drakes from horsemen. When you win a heroic move with a captain, move your screening goblins and let your drakes go to town on some heroes. The one downside is I believe the FAQ states that you don't get draconic charge if you go through terrain. Regardless, 4 attacks at f6 will win you nearly every engagement (3 if you charge), and you get double strikes if you knocked them down so you can slay heroes quickly. Gaping Maw, not sure if that is any good. Realistically it'd be useful against heroes with a lot of Wounds but low defense... none come to mind however. Other than that, make sure you don't break and your drakes don't take too much damage and you will be fine. Monsters are very good now, but they still need to watch out for magic, just like any expensive hero. |

Draconic charge gives knockdown only, not extra attack. |

looks awsome, maybe bit to mutch green. (on your golblims) the cave dragons look awsome. you can still try this list with hurl. every turn. end just don't care abbout your golblim lives and just attack. Bolg |
