I wouldnt bother with Thrydan too expensive. An uruk captain upgraded max, fill out warbands with uruks in heavy armour, a shaman for fury. Drop the marauders for xbows as for heros the named ones are pretty cheap.

Yeah... Your uruk captain is fine leading the legion, but if you're going to take a Dunland contingent, might as well make it 12 pikes following 11 Dunlendings, you have little enough support as it is. On paper (never used him) Thrydan seems like the kind of hero that is only useful when accompanied by magic. His rule is useless against warriors, so he's meant to be a hero-killer, but he doesn't really have the stats to compete against Good heroes unless they're bat-swarmed or transfixed. Mauhur and bow-scouts doesn't seem very effective, since S2 bows are only somewhat effective against wood elves and un-shielded Galadhrim. Everybody else has D5 or D6. |
