Warband 1: Damrod 4 Rangers of Gondor 4 Warriors of Minas Tirith (shield) 4 Warriors of Minas Tirith (spear, shield) Warband 2: Beregond 4 Rangers of Gondor 4 Warriors of Minas Tirith (shield) 4 Warriors of Minas Tirith (spear, shield) Warband 3: Cirion, Liutenant of Amon Barad 4 Rangers of Gondor 4 Warriors of Minas Tirith (shield) 4 Warriors of Minas Tirith (spear, shield) 400 pts I'm thinking of spending the last 100 pts on an uber hero. Which über-heroes for less than 100 points are you considering? I wouldn't excactly call Faramir an über-hero (he's not that much more powerful than a Captain), but he's good nevertheless. Faramir with heavy armour, lance, shield and armoured horse wouldn't be too bad for this force, I guess. |

What about Denethor with 8 ctadel guard + 6 spears? Not exactly an uber hero but 48 units in a 500 point Gondor army is pretty good going. Nice and thematic too... |

in 500pts? Nope. Unless you are doing a siege, siege engines are never worth it. Far too easy to close them down and get within minimum range. |
