Beregond 11 warriors of arnor Damrod 12 rangers Forlong 12 warrior of the dead 500 points Firstly is this army legal? , I've played it a couple of times now and had good results, the special rule of the dead is very effective especially when supported with the fight 4 spears. So what do you think is it any good?. |

Gondor heroes can't lead Arnor troops (Beregond wouldn't be born for another 1600 years), and Fiefdoms are a different list so not all your rangers can shoot. |

Your list is effetive but illlegal. I would personally just use the king of the dead instead of forlorn and then use the rangers (8),after take out the warrors of arnor and get minas tirith cavalry with a captain or beregond on horse. |

king of death 10warriors with shield beregond 12 warriors of MT all shields 12 spears damrod 8rangers of gondor 4 spears 2 warriors of gondor with shields 1 with spear use the warriors with spear to support the death and make a strong wall (you also can take forlong, less themetic but more powerfull (becouse you can take 2 death warriors and a normal warrior more) Lucas damrod |

don't you have to include a ranger of the north or dunedain for everything 4 rangers? or is that only for arnor? |

Wow think I've been working my bow limit wrong , counted 38 men in total divided by 3 equals 12 , so 12 rangers can have bows , is this not right?. Hi Gothmog, yes shields are a good addition. Hi azog I looked at the king of the dead but I didn't think he was very good plus is your list 500 points ( sorry I don't have my book at the minute)?. Forlong is better strength and also has might. |

No, it's not right, because bow limit is by allied contingent, not over the whole army. You really have three allies, each warband being a separate ally. Your first warband isn't legal by any stretch, but I guess you can pretend its Arnor. Your third warband is fiefdoms. Your second is Minas Tirith, but since it's all rangers only four can shoot. |

that list is over bow limit by 2 models as you have to have 2/3 warriors without bows. Heroes dont count towards the total number of models when working this out. So: beregond 12 warriors of MT all shields 12 spears damrod 8rangers of gondor 4 spears 2 warriors of gondor with shields 1 with spear You have 22 warriors in total and 8 bows. 22/3 = 7 (ish) You would need 24 warriors to get 8 bows. |
