1000pt Thorin+Rivendell

Hey everyone, I've been brainstorming some 1000pt lists and in think i've come up with one i really quite like:

Warband 1 12/12
High Elf Stormcaller
4 High Elf Warrior with Elven Blade;
4 High Elf WarriorElf Bow;
4 High Elf WarriorSpear;

Warband 2 12/12
Arwen with Horse;
4 High Elf Warrior with Elven Blade;
4 High Elf WarriorElf Bow;
4 High Elf WarriorSpear;
----
Warband 3 11/12
High Elf Stormcaller
3 High Elf WarriorElf Bow;
4 High Elf WarriorSpear;
4 High Elf Warrior

Warband 4
Thorin Oakenshield with The Oakenshield; Orcrist;
Dwalin
Bombur
Oin

Warband 5 12/12
Balin
6 Warrior of Erebor with Spear;
6 Warrior of Erebor with Shield;
----

I feel rather confident about it, although i was tempted to not bother with the erebor dwarves and just max out thorins company as much as i could, but i reckon Dwalin+Thorin are all the brawling i need. What do you guys think?

Maybe organize your warbands more, so they each have a specific task, or just put all your archers in one warband, with the others as diverse combat groups. Low ish numbers for a thousand point list, but it should fair alright if you play to your advantages.

Well, i was considering lumping the archers into one warband but then i would be missing out on a stormcaller at the front line. How about if i put mounted Arwen with the archer group, so she can just ride to the front line in a short amount of time?

this list can work, but stormcallers of the highelves can't do nature wrath I thought???
put all archers together in arwen's warband (she runns away)
maybe switch one stormcaller for erestor, becouse one killer hero more is better than a stormcaller.

Your correct, High Elf stormcallers have Strengthen Will instead of nature's wrath.

Arwen can do natures wrath though, and call winds is a decent spell anyway, one that doesn't require an awful lot of will to cast. Also strengthening my allies will is handy for the sake of balin/oin/arwen and the other stormcallers.

Well you'd have to keep bombur close to arwen or one of the stormcallers in order to get the most out of his special rules. Which could be difficult because of his slow movement, and the fact that arwen will be mounted. There is great combat potential with these heros but keeping them all together could leave part of your line without might, which is a big no-no when you have the numbers you do. It's risky but it could work if you manage your line well enough.

But are you going to put the archers in one warband?

Don't forget Balin and Oin, they will also benefit from Bombur's special rule, which means there are 5 models to benefit from him+2 strengthen wills, so keeping will up will be easy. Regarding the archers, i reckon i will lump them together
