Post subject:  Defenders of Fornost
Heres what I came up with for an Arnor army(500 pts), problem is I have no idea what to use the last 89 points on.
Heres the list now:

Royal Guard of Arnor
Arvedui
12 warriors of Arnor

The Seer
Malbeth

The Avenger
Avenger bolt thrower with swift reload with siege engineer captain.


The rest of the points I have no idea on what to use so please suggest some stuff.

Sense the avenger bolt thrower in not part of Arnor you will need a Hero from Gondor to lead that group. Or are you house ruling it?

I'd buy a separate captain, the engineer captain is way over priced.
Maybe rangers would be a better use of points, the avenger doesn't get instant deth and the lack of wide scatter means that your opponent doesn't have to spread ot as much to avoid most of your shots.

Also, you could even take Arathorn and have him count as the captain of the guard or something. Arnor is a bit shot on variety.

use your points for some warriors or rangers of arnor in malbat's warband and maybe some more crew

Thanks for the help everyone, I tried to make a list with all of the suggestions,

Arvedui
12 warriors of arnor

Malbeth
3 warriors of arnor

Halbarad with banner
12 rangers

What do you think of this?
And would it be wiser to use somehing else in place of the 3 warriors of arnor?

Remove the banner from Halbarad to free up more points to fill Malbeth's warband with warriors of arnor? That way, your model count will ensure that the 1/3rd of your army that have bow (the rangers) can all fire (You'll need 36 or more models)

Yes, Malbeth is decent. Not sure the shield is necessary except as a pts filler, no need to be shielding.

Yup, make sure you do!

Having Halbarad isn't exactly thematic with Arvedui and Malbeth but neat little force there in my opinion :)

If I was using thermo's list I would replace Arvedui with Arathorn. He is better imo.
