Just wondering what everbody thinks about this 1500pt elven force I just put together?

- Gil-galad with shield (145pts)

- 6 King's Guard with shield and spear (72pts)
- King's Guard with Banner (35pts)

Warband #2 (218pts)
- Erestor (80pts)
- 6 King's Guard with shield (66pts)
- 6 King's Guard with shield and spear (72pts)

Warband #3 (212pts)
- Gildor (80pts)
- 12 High Elf Warriors with Elf bow (132pts)

Warband #4 (178pts)
- Rumil (70pts)
- 9 Guards of the Galadhrim Court (108pts)

Warband #5 (237pts)
- Galadhrim Captain with shield and armoured horse (85pts)
- 8 Galadhrim Knights with shield (152pts)

Warband #6 (180pts)
- Galadhrim Captain with Elf bow (70pts)
- 11 Galadhrim Warriors with Elf bow (110pts)

Warband #7 (168pts)
- Galadhrim Stormcaller (60pts)

Looks like fun. I wouldn't bother with the King's Guard update, your GoGC already have that stat line and there's only so many F6 warriors you will need since you outclass or tied just about everything already.

One thing you could try instead is to give all your cavalry bows in addition to their shields, since their Expert Rider rule allows you to make good use of it. Their D5 is optimal against S2 bows or S4 xbows, but a bit soft against normal warriors. So take advantage of their mobility and soften up the enemy until it's time to charge in. But this would mean revamping your list...
