will you be playing with lome or with the new battle companies? Either way, you should get a box of corsairs: they're the "front row guys" for harad. I also suggest not using the mumak until you get into higher point battles. Maybe some harad raiders too? and as a hero suladan? (and if playing with warbands some captains too) |

I think you need more troops. Maybe drop the Mumak and use the cash to buy a box of Harad warriors or two or/and some harad riders? also the betrayer's makes ur poison attacks a bit more reliable. |

I think all wraiths (cept Khamul) are good at certain situations though some situations are more common such as the Shadow Lord. |

well the thing about the mumak is almost nothing in 500 points can bring it down, except of course the all troll warband also GW uses this as the harad starter army check thier page. I REALLY DON'T WANT TO USE CORSAIRS MORE HARAD FOCUS NOT UMBAR!!! i also must use a mumak because i love it though the rest and the mumaks abilities are completely flexible. i also have nothing against using easterlings plan on only using new rules. remember 1 hero 0-12 warriors. This Haradrim force may initially look small, but don't let appearances fool you, it packs an extremely powerful punch. Any rival 500-point force will struggle to bring down the Mûmak, but let's not forget they also have 12 Haradrim Warriors and a Nazgûl to contend with as well. The Betrayer allows the Haradrim Warriors and any other models with a poisoned weapon close by to re-roll To Wound rolls on a score of 1 or 2. But as well as bolstering the abilities of the warbands around him, the Betrayer model is itself a formidable force on the tabletop, causing Terror and has the Bane of Kings special rule - allowing you to re-roll wounding strikes on any enemy models.(taken from the getting started with fallen realms under this list) |

Please let me know the result of your game -- I do hope you play with the Mumak. I have 2 of them, but have not been confident enough to use them in a game. Hopefully soon though. I would be interested to find out the best strategy for winning with a Mumak. Thank you in advance for any insight. |

You know the 12 Warriors on the Mumak aren't free, and you have to pay the pts for them? |

yeah thats the 295 points according to the gw getting started page here is the link. http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/conte ... eMode=true because their mumak has all it's riders in the howdah. |

Firstly, that only has 8 rders not 12. Secondly, I believe GW messed up on that one because (unless they reduced it) a Mumak with no riders or upgrades costs 275pts, and each rider costs either 6 or 7pts, tusk weapons costs 25pts |

so you think the guys at GW are idiots and F*cked up again. so no riders, though they are redoing the rules. and do all the riders even fit up there? |

Post subject: | Re: Harad army |
Unless they redo the rules to make 8 of the riders come free, and reduce the Mumak's overall costan Tusk Weapons upgrade, then yes they have messed up. Which is just like them. When LoME forst came out, they printed some LoME legal lists, several of whch were actually wrong, including the Easterling one. |

i really think they should all have one person doing the work for everything or learn to read their own damn rules |

I have to agree with you, Gw don't seem too organised. Another time, on ther WotR tactics, they recommend using a tactic which their FAQ said was illegal. Any way, you might want to wait for the new book, on the extremely unlikely offchance they have changed. However, you could somehow alter your list? |
