I have yet to try this list but would like some feedback on it, im quite new.

Boromir of gondor 105pts
39 warriors of minas tirith 312pts
4 knights of minas tirith 52pts
Beregond on horse 31pts

500pts exactly, the warriors will be a mix of shields, spears and bows but i have not
decided on how it will be split yet, i am thinking 15/15/9 at the moment.

C&C welcome

It looks ok, I do think it is very basic though. Beregond is not a real hero IMO, but Boromir makes up for that. I would maybe look at swapping Beregond and a couple of WoMT for a Captain on a horse (or Faramir?) because you will need some heroic moves with your cavalry.

I hope you do realize that in a normal box of WoMT, warriors with spears come with a shield? You would have to convert a lot :)

I think at that point level he's more useful than Boromir, a bit cheaper but more flexible. He has some will, which could be useful against wraiths. He's not a slaying machine though...

Faramir is cheaper but your list isn't lacking on numbers so boromir isn't a bad choice. Maybe whack him on a horse for extra killing power? I also suggest giving him an elven cloak, that way you won't lose him to shooting.

Boromir has a lot of Might and high defense... But Faamir is a good choise as leader...

Given that Boromir has higher courage than Faramir, he's a better leader too.

If you're not fielding any bodyguards then Boromir is a better choice because of Might, Fight and Attacks. If you are having a lot of them then Faramir becomes a better option overall, because he can still get lance/horse for 6 S4+1 strikes on charge, while his bodyguards don't lose their rule for losing Beregond (played by LoME Boromir of Gondor is not part of any Gondor lists, so if you want any tournament play with bodyguards take Faramir, if just by the rulebook then Boromir every time).
