Okay, so I've built Rohan armies for a long time and for the last couple weeks I've been really curious about the Sons of Eorl. Their statline in SBG seems decent and the one time I proxied them in SBG for testing they performed admirably. I would like to know what people think of the Sons of Eorl in SBG and the Sons of Eorl Eored in WOTR. Do they perform well? Are they worth spending money on? If they do perform well, what's the best way to use them?

For SBG they are very good to attack... They move faster than normal mounted models and they have a high defense and two attacks and as they ar emounted he attacks go to three... So probably the best way is to make them an attack force...
Now for Wotr they are almost the same : move faster than most enemies, high defense but they also cause terror if they charge and that helps to keep them somehow safe from being charged and they have throwing weapons! So again they are good at attacking...
But they have courage 4 and that seems they are 50%-50% to be terrified or not...

In SBG I've had mixed results. It's always risky spending 20+ points on a 1 Wound model, but if you can keep them safe from archers they're usually worth it.
