I am seriously considering buying a ringwraith on fell beast for a combat wraith, but I'm just not so sure on the matter. I currently own a ring-wraith on horse and am wondering if this is just as good an option. Another thing is the morgul helm for the witchking, it seems like a good option but does anybody know if it is worth the extra points? And finally how many might, will and fate do you guys find is ideal for a wraith? |

Firstly, fell beast is easily worth the points. It's just money-wise that they're expensive. I always give my ringwraith a horse as it allows him to get around the battlefield quickly and give his magic where it's needed. I would generally not get my ringwraith into combat if he was just on a horse. About combat wraiths. They're not essential if you're taking your nazgul on a FB but their special abilities can come in useful like the dark marshal's fight 6, the betrayers bane of kings, Khamul's essense leach, and KoU's combat mimicry. I don't know about morgul crown. It could be a good option if the Witch-King was your only major hero and you were playing contest of champions that would make him a killing monster. But I can't tell for sure as I haven't used it. |

thank you, The other question I have is exactly what does the Armoured upgrade and Spiked upgrade do? Is it just an extra defense and attack/strength? And is it worth the extrta points? ( I haven't actually bought the Mordor Sourcebook yet seeming as the majority of the profiles are on the G-W website or main rulebook) |

I don't think the horned fellbeast is worth his points. The armoured fell beast sometimes pays off but I think it's betetr to pay your points on other stuff. And always take the shadowlord on fellbeast otherwise you will be shot to death. |

I wouldn't say shooting is such a big problem for FBs as they can easily move out of range and then get into combat and they can't shoot you. Why don't you think fell beasts are worth their points? They can easily kill their points' worth as well as giving your wraith much better maneuverability and LoS. |

Thanks again, so any wraith will work on the fellbeast? I am not overly concerned about bows (S2 vs D6 I like my chances) but I want to make sure when Im in combat I can win it, should I take dark marshal, KoU khamul, the tainted ( I love his special rule) or would the betrayer, or for the matter any of the wraiths do better? (I have a peronal preference of the KoU because he can match any opponents skill, added with the fellbeast would be great, but are the other wraiths better on fell beasts?) |

Khamul is probably your best bet as he can stay around for a very long time and can give you an extra attack or FV if you're trying to pin an un-transfixed hero. KoU probably isn't that great as you don't really need to mimic the enemy as most of the time you'll be better on FB. I would still keep him out of range of bows because he still needs just 6s with S2 bows. |

Sorry if you understand me wrong but i didn't said thast fellbeast are weak. they are one of the best competive monsters at tournaments. but the horned fellbeast is not worth his points. Because that 1 point extra strength is not needed. Maybe it's different at your place but because they ringwraith is such an large model it's almost impossible to hide him because the terrain is too low. And It still takes an Fellbeast 2 turns in normal bows range to get in combat. Because the ringwraith moves 12"and bows shoot 24". And if you look to the amount of bows that is used at tournaments I don't think he will survive it. |

No don't model it it was just a joke On most tournaments they just look to the original model not how you model it because of this things. |
