Let me get strait to the point. I have a 350 point tournament coming up in 6 days and I need a good fallen relms army. I would like to have a main easterling army with a few harad ( I am willing to spend up to $50 to buy new units if needed) the guys that I have are as fallows heroes: amdur dragon knight warrior priest captian (foot and mounted) suldan the serpant lord (foot and mounted) harad captian (foot and mounted) khmul (foot, mounted and fellbeast) corsiar captian corsair bouson warriors: 3 x corsair arbalesters 3 x watchers of karna 9 x warriors of harad w spears 15 x warriors of harad w bows 1 x warrior of harad with banner 6 x harad raiders 16 x easterlings w bows 8 x easterlings w shield w pike 14 x easterlings w shield 5 x kataphracks 1 x easterlings w horn (rules for horns here https://www.games-workshop.com/MEDIA_Cu ... forcements ) |

Can you play a 350 point game in WotR? At that point level it's best to stick with one faction, otherwise you need to spend on heroes to ally with. Your best bet for Easterlings at that point level is probably a bog captain with as many troops as you can pack in. Take all your spears so you can get pike support when you need it. If you can fit a few kataphracts in there they might help as a distraction or even anvil. Alternately, Amdur is a potent hero, and he's a banner too. Backed up with a couple spear/pikes he can probably chew through a lot of minions. He's expensive, but you should end up in the mid-20s for numbers, which isn't bad considering a hero of that caliber. If you were considering taking a bog captain and a banner, Amdur is probably a better bet. |
