I am presuming that any army from LOME that features Orcs, can include the above, at least those from the Bastions of Dark Lord lists. I am unsure about Angmar, as whilst the Angmar list includes orc warriors, it oddly does not include any orc captains or shaman to lead them... (although presumably OK as allies from suitable list) |

No, every sourcebook has revised army lists, and not all hero types are available with each list. You're correct about Angmar, there are no Orc heroes, you're expected to use Burdur some other leader. Check the Mordor book for which Mordor list can ally with Angmar, you might be able to get a taskmaster and drummer that way. |

Hmmmm, I see what you mean... I've had another look through the lists in Mordor supplement: Barad Dur, Cirith Ungol and the Black Gate list can take them, but oddly again, Minas Morgul can't. Strange, do you think that's an error of omission? Dol Guldur, is not in the Mordor supplement, but is covered by the Fall of the Necromancer supplement. However, if you go literally by what is written in FotN army list at end of book, the only evil "warriors" are Giant Bats, Giant Spiders and Wargs. No mention of orcs! Yet they are in most of the preceding scenarios in the book... |

Barad Dur list contains the Taskmaster & Drummer , and can ally with all the Mordor "Bastion armies" of the Dark Lord, and Dol Guldur and Angmar, and as Task Master & Drummer are classed as Heroes, then you will be able take them as allies. This would work similarly for Orc Shamen and captains from Barad Dur for Angmar, should you want to take them... regards Scott |

Strange, do you think that's an error of omission? No, there's a lot of that kind of thing with all the regions. I think it's to give balance and flavour, and keep to themes presented in the books and movies. |

You got it slightly wronng about Dol Guldur , I would suggest taking a glimps at the LoME for more details... Dont use the older sourcebooks, the detail allies list and warriors information are to be expected from sourcbooks starting from "Ruins of Arnor" |

Yup, the Fall of the Necromancer does not include any army lists or gaming tactics for Dol-Goldur or Thranduil's halls. |
