I´m going to have a huge 800 pts battle with Hight elves this thusday although there is a small possibility that I will face Dwarves but I am not too sure on that and as such I can´t decide on the armies
(i didnt write sepratley allied armies for the sake of space and your time. Note they are all legally allied)

Also C&C welcome

#ARMY #1#
the Necromancer
Spider Queen
Orc Drummer

2xGiant Spiders
36xorcs with spears/shields/bows/2hwp.
10xMorrannon orcs w/shields
10xM Orcs w/shields and spears

#ARMY #2#
Shagrat the War Leader
Shelob
Dark-Marshal on armored horse
Kardush the Firecaller

Orc Hornblower
35xorcs with spears/shields/bows/2hwp.
10xM.O w/shields
10xM.O w/shields and spears

I think the first list may suffer against dwarves, as you will be outnumbered and they will have higher defence, it all depends on whether you are willing to drop the Necromancer.

The second list again i think is too hero heavy, drop either the ringwraith or Kurdash, because you should be outnumbering elves because of your poorer troops, in this case 35 orcs, you have 55 total and i'm sure you can squeeze a few more orcs in somewhere.

I ithink the 2nd list will do the best but that is only because i do not know the capabilities of the Necromancer, Spider Queen, etc...

i like the first list.... if you took out the necromancer. he is unnessessary... you would do much better taking a named ringwraith, more orcs and other things to spice it up (wargs, bats, troll mabye?)

also, you need some cavalry and a few wargs to go with them (3ish wild wargs to help where needed...) cause they are really effective (just dont get too many)

and... get some bows (but not orcs) cause they are always needed... even when you dont think so...

at this pt limit you should have killer:spider queen, anti killer: nazgul, speed:wargs and riders, general troops:orcs, 'spice':morranons and spiders.

you would also want to try and get a captian cause your low on might

Well i had some real though over the list.... I was even thinking in adding Sauron the Dark Lord (but that would be cheese), Shade or Gulavhar.... but at the end I decided something with numbers and something that could fight and cast magic as well...

Barad Dur
-Kardush the Fire caller-60pts
(don forget that he has fury, and can cast magical power with strength of 6)
-Orc Drummer-40pts
35xOrcs-210pts (with spears, shields, bows, 2hwp.)
15xMorannon orcs w/shields-120pts
15xMorannon orcs w /spear & shield-135pts

Dol Guldur
Spider Queen-75pts

NazgyL
The Dark Marshal on Armored horse-135pts

So this army is fast moving and has a lot of numbers... It´s only weakness is the lack of might points, but it has fury, and a Nazgyl with Banner rule to bulck up the force.

Total:69
50%:35
Bow:till 6
Might:5

so any more thoughts???

that is realy good, but i would also get someone with good fight value
for combat, and to use stand fast rule on the orcs

e.g..........a orc captain or 2

The new list looks good, I was saddened at the sight of noone save the spider queen from Dol Goldur :( . If you're fighting dwarves spiders I think would be very good to have. Perhaps drop the m.o (maybe this is a bit drastic) and get 5 giant spiders and 10 wild wargs and then perhaps spend the rest on 8 orcs. Just suggestion as this army list (IMO) is more thematical.

Army looks good, Morrannon orcs from my experience rip through elves.:)

Spiders are more thematic but, if there is no cover they are going to get shoot to pieces by S3 bows, which are pretty certain to be fielded.
Also in close quarters with two dwarves versus 1 spider there is an equal chance of either side winning ,but the dwarves will wound on 4+ the spider on 5+ so after 4 combats the spiders have a 28/18 (1.55...) chance of killing a dwarf, the dwarves have a 1/1 chance of killing a spider. Just something to think about.

Heh, well My spideys have never ever got shot, cause I play very carefully with them... and also they usually fight 1 vs. 1 occasionally 1.vs.2 and usually win, or kill what ever  They work fine

although your list is low on might, it can still work (its going to be harder though)

i REALLY think that you should get at least 1 spider (or some wargs) to go with the queen, that way you have a bit of a shield and other ppl to back her up (or else the queen could get swamped)

GET TRACKERS!!!! you need bows, but orcs are terrible so if you can get better archers then do so
