Drauglin makes a very good point about how to continue the army. Also, make sure that you pick the fights in battles where you have the numbers. Use Khamul and Amdur to acquire a large numerical superiority, and when you have to take down an enemy hero, gang up on him (or her) with both of them. If necessary, use Amdur and Khamul as the Vegomatic salesmen, demonstrating their combined prowess on anything that gets in your way.

Keep the rest of the troops in positions that make it difficult for the enemy to maneuver due to the size of their bases.
