Just curious to see how many painters and gamers are in Melbourne? I am just a painter myself but haven't ruled out playing one day. Anyways if you're from Melbourne please feel free to post a bit about yourself :)

I'm in Melbourne too. I used to collect a bit back in my highschool days and over summer was playing a bunch of boardgames and stuff, which made me start thinking about collecting a bit again. My teenage self never really got that into playing the actual game. Prices have gone mental since I last walked into a GW though. Just been doing some Gumtree/eBay trawling, haha.

Massive bump, unfortunately I don't have facebook but here goes I am looking for new friend/s to paint with and to teach me how to play. I'm 29 and have never had friends in the hobby all my friends are sporty types who wouldn't be interested so thought I would try my luck here.

I am engaged and live in the northern suburbs with my girlfriend, not too keen on a big gaming club type thing at the moment until I learn more, just looking for some people who want to hang out on weekends here and there and paint some minis then attempt to play the game but I think I will be pretty terrible early on.

I think having some buddies to paint with will help me get more hobby stuff completed as I have finished about 12 goblins in 3 years.

I won't mind hosting I have plenty of paints and a big kitchen table to game on. I am happy to meet up at a GW first my local store is the Preston one.
