Hello,

I'm new to the One Ring forum board and returning to the Hobbit SBG game after a hiatus since the original FOTR game box set back in 2001.

Now armed with the Hobbit/LOTR rules, supplements and models I'm keen to get in on the tournament scene. One problem...No UK tournaments (except the sold out GW one). Willing to travel anywhere within the UK if any during 2016.

I live in Exeter, Uk so also keen to play games in Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Dorset or Bristol in addition to the tournament events.

Thanks all in advance,
Orc

Welcome back. There are around 15 UK tournaments a year across the country which are played during the Great British Hobbit League. The league has its own facebook group if you are on there. Also check out the GBHL Podcast youtube channel which also provides info about upcoming tournaments.

Thanks UKFB. Sorry it's taken a while to respond to your post as knew I'd posted this question some time ago, but couldn't remember in which forum category.Doh!

Building up simultaneous Rohirrim, Mordor & Gondor forces atm whilst getting used to the rules. See lots of potental for fun miniature converting projects too, as paying the earth for oop models on ebay seems crazy.

Hope to attend some tournaments from June 2016 onwards
