Hi all,

I thought should make a post to introduce myself, I'm David a long time LOTR/Hobbit player from Falkirk in Central Scotland. Some of you might recognize me if you attend any of the GW GTs or this years ToS, as I've been going to them for the last few years. I've also managed to make a couple of the independent tournaments in Stockport this year and will be putting on a tournament in Stirling as part of my club Stirling Wargamers. I occasionally post on TLA too (under the same user name). I recently started a new job in an office so now have a lot more "free" time in front of a computer ;) so should hopefully be able to make a few posts.

Welcome.

I think we played at singles in feb. Was it you who had the dwarf army with Kings champ, gimli, balin & floi? Think it was the game where my morannon orc went beserk and killed 6 or so dwarves with his axe...may be wrong though lol.

Anyway...enjoy your stay :)

It's great to have you on board - it's always good to have a knowledgeable player to balance out the collectors / painters etc. on the site.

A few years ago I remember having a ride on the Falkirk Wheel (an unusual experience and a great bit of engineering ). Check it our folks.

Yeah that was me, really enjoyed that game very close in the end.

That Morannon Orc was a boss, never managed to kill him in the end, plenty of Dwarven blood on that axe of his.
