Hello, Some of you may know me from TLA. Yup that is me. I am walking a cross road fence here. I am trying to shake myself into pushing my hobby further. It meant deleting my entire site and rebuilding it, putting newly cropped photo's up, deleting others, weeding through extra's and stuff. That meant putting an end to my long lived thread on TLA which is fine also, have to sometimes clear the table in order to set up the next project. So I decided to make a membership here at the same time. I need to have access to more hobbyists, more inspiration, more work. I love seeing what other people are doing, what new projects they are in to. This is what fuels me. So Who am I. Well when not slaving at my full time job I am usually going full steam with my Daughter, she is now 2 1/2 so she is both funny and scaring the Devlan Mud out of me at the same time. But I love it. So I get a few hours a week to paint. Those that have followed my work know that I obviously use it wisely and crank out quite a bit with that time and I try not to skimp on quality. I am not sure yet how I will fit in this site and old TLA but will try it out. I have made a few rules for myself I hope to uphold. Don't get suckered into country law/rule/history debates. Steer clear of GW policy / price debates. Don't take anything personally. With that, I say thanks for having me around. Point me to your best painters cause yes I want to see what you got, inspire me now!!! ha ha. |

I took a stroll through your gallery and wanted to know what you used to make the two distinct gold colors on the elf warrior. I am still debating my exact scheme but I have some done in blue cloaks and one done in a winter scheme and silver armor. I digress, I also like the painted horse (breed), not many people have done a painted horse. I have done a few. I am sure I will be following your WIP thread in no time, bugging you with questions. As for my work, I have some fair pieces but not ready to feet first into a new WIP thread of my own just yet. I have had a few pieces in White Dwarf Daily (my troll drummer, my Fell Beast, my cave Drake, my version of the Tainted that I can recall off the top of my head). My site is slowly returning so I can give back inspiration as I gain some from you folks. |

Welcome! It'll be great to see your work here too. Some of the top painters off the top of my head: (not a complete list, don't troll me if I missed you!  )DMS, GandalfTheGrey, Barbar, minimalmonkeysaddle, powerofwill. You can also check out tidoco and Haldir_pl, they aren't active anymore, but have some great stuff. |

It's great to have you on-board. We pride ourselves on being a friendly site with people from all around the world and varying skill levels interacting in a positive way. Over the years it's been great to see what our members are capable of. The current bunch aren't too bad  On a children front it's all nearly in the past for me with my two sons probably moving out of the family house later this year. Enjoy the young years and capture everything with photos, video and your memory since it flies by so fast. I'm looking forward to your work inspiring other members to even greater heights.

Great stuff. Welcome aboard! My kids are 15 and 11 now so almost independent. My boy is the youngest and enjoys playing. I just wish I could get my daughter into it. She is very creative and often steals my small paintbrushes to paint a tiny masterpiece on her nails.
