So after lurking on this site over the past year or so, I finally decided I should probably become a member and introduce myself. The gist of it... I'm Dave, been painting seriously for about 2 years, dabbled in the hobby eons ago, well over 15 years. Been painting LOTR/Hobbit miniatures for... a year and a half now? Yeah, that sounds about right. It's basically the main tabletop game I've been painting and playing for awhile now.

I just wanted to say how much inspiration I've gotten from this site. Most of you guys are just phenomenal artists (and I don't use that terminology loosely in any sense of the words) and the Tomes of Wisdom section has been a plethora of knowledge and tips I've tapped into countless times as my painting skills have evolved.

Anyhew, I guess that'll be my "formal greeting". If anyone is interested in seeing some of my works, the link to my blog is in the sig. 8)

Done and Done on that follow button.... and thank you for the praise. I only have about 35 more MoMT to go to reach my personal goal of 80, and then it'll be time to get started on the cavalry which I'm really looking forward to painting.
