Good Evening all,
I have been a collector of the Lord of the Rings range since the first releases in 2001. I have a huge collection and I have nearly all of the models. I am currently converting the shed at my house into a miniature middle earth. So building all the scenery etc. I am lucky to have a girlfriend who allows me to do this in my spare time
as she is as equally enthusiastic about Lord of the Rings as I have always been. I have done extensive research into Tolkien's world and part of my doctoral degree was all about his works and that of Middle Earth. So I like to think of myself as a bit of an expert on both the books of Middle Earth and the Films. With the new Hobbit releases I hope that the SBG can continue to grow in popularity and not die in the next few years as some of the people who play Warhammer and 40,000 seem to believe 
. But really glad I have found this awesome website and I hope I can contribute whenever I can.
