Hey! So I'm picking up my tools after abandoning them for a good five years. A lot has changed but I'm looking forward to getting up to date! I have a WIP thread up already, trying to get into the swing of things. I have an account on TLA but this board is a little more active which is always good. ~ Shieldmaiden |

Welcome to the One Ring - thats the best thing about this site its always active!! Only problem with it is its hard to tear yourself away to actually do any painting......on that note, must go and paint , must go and paint , ah just 5 more minutes. see what i mean? Welcome and enjoy

Welcome back to the hobby. Everything is just the same except the figures are made from a material half as good, but twice as expensive as when you last remember them no doubt. One Ring is a lot more active than TLA these days, and has been for some time. So you'll always find lots of help, tips, encouragement and constructive comments here.

Welcome back to the hobby! Good thing about painting is like riding a bicycle, you never forget it.. well it might take a little to come back to 100%, but the skills are still there

Welcome back to heaven! I hope you'll like the site, and I agree about finecast, although, some metal boxes weren't that good too (my trebuchet parts didn't want to be shaped flat, instead of that I got parts I needed to edit with hammers etc. myself  )
