Hello everyone! I am a new member as of now but not new to this site and have followed it for years and felt it was time to give you all my imput and show off my skills or answer questions you all may have.
I am a veteran (not from Osgiliath) of the hobby which includes LotR, Warhammer and Warhammer 40K.
I prefer the LotR SBG over the new WotR  as I am still learning it and have only played a few games of it.
In the SBG I aways enjoyed Gondor and Mordor the most and Isengard followed close behind. I have been noted for my painting skills many times and will post up pics for you all to enjoy since that is the best part (IMO) about this site. I always love to admire people's skills and painting no matter how bad or how amazing they look.
If anyone needs an honest oppinion of their work I will be glad to give them my input.
As I also stated I am a good painter I will help out with color schemes or how to achieve a certain effect on a model or terrain.

Well everyone I suppose I will let you all do the rest and post questions or comments and hope to make good friends and allies with everyone on here. Talk to you soon :boromir

Thank you everyone.

@ isengard owns: I toyed with playing with Harad for a while back when they were first released and only used them in scenario based games (mainly Assault on Glammorgarth) and never used them outside of that but I have been tossing around a WotR army using them. I enjoyed the graphic novel and movie 300 and Idk why but I like the Golden King of Harad and reminds me of a LotR type of Xerxes and was going to theme the army around him trolls and maybe throw in some goblins or orcs they he "purchasd" to his cause

they are all two attacks and blowpipes are deadly if used correctly. mahud kings are also deadly! i had to mahud kings and nither of them died. i like to use a cavalry formation of haradrim raiders with a mahud raider and a mahud king on camel.

Nice to see someone so enthusiastic join the forums. :)

I collect Gondor as well, and I've been trying to figure out a colour scheme to go for. What have you done with your Gondorians?

stuck with the typical color scheme. Boltgun metal with a mithril silver highlights (I know it may sound bright but its not and it gives them a noble and clean look compared to mordor) and just black cloth.
Rangers I have varied in cloak colors of various greens and browns and it looks pretty good.
My main focus on Gondor is the heroes s I find them fun to paint so I will spend more time working on them.
I have had ideas for other factions from Gondor to allow me to paint different color schemes to them

Welcome to the One Ring. I am in it solely for the hobby side, which I love so I can't wait to see some of your work and try to get my skills developed with your advice - which I trust is as good as you say 8)
