Hi. Im Chris, Im 29 and I live in Leeds in the UK. I have been a gamer for some years now although took a break for a few years during my late teens and early twenties. I got back into the hobby about 4 years ago but for some reason never played the Lord of the Rings. Recently re-reading the trilogy and the release of War of the Ring has changed all that though... |

Welcome to the One-Ring, the greatest gaming site of our times! (and the friendliest one!) A few quick tips.... You'll want to pick up the "One-Ring Survival Handbook." ASAP. If you can't find a copy, be sure to carefully do the below. 1. Avoid treading on the tails of Dorthonions. They're quick-tempered, obsessive collectors and none too sane. 2. Avoid getting the moderators mad. They're Sauron's finest, a black-hearted band of wraiths. And one is a Balrog! 3. Be sure to write BAAAZOOKA (except with one A ) in the chatbox every time you sign in. 4. Have fun! |

Welcome to the One-Ring. I am the Director of Middle-earth Artillery, Fortifications and Munitions, hence my prolific use of The B a z o o k a. The chief purpose of The B a z o o k a is the defenestration of goblins and irritating a certain Balrog (speak not his name). That trilogy is a masterpiece, isn't it? I've been slowly reading it again for a few weeks now - great stuff.
