Good day everyone!

I'm new here on The One Ring but am altogether, jolly excited to be here and to share in everyone's enthusiasm (or otherwise) for all things "Miniature Middle-earth"!

So I live in London and have been wargamming on and off since the late 80's, although the past two years have been more full on!

I currently have three War of the Ring armies:
High Elves - 2,000 pts - 10% painted
Isengard - 2,000 pts - 100% painted
Rohan - 2,000 pts - 10% painted

Plus:
The Fellowship
The Council of Wizardry
Two Eagles
Tom Bombadil
The Nine are Abroad
Buhrdur (my favourite model)

I took 1,500 pts of Isengard to the GW ToS in November last year. Fortunately I didn't have to face the winning Nazgul Spam army or indeed the runner up Councillor Chain (I can elaborate on this if necessary, but I suspect most are familiar with it), so all in all an enjoyable two days of playing WotR. Sadly however it was the last ever GW WotR event for the foreseeable future, so I'm glad I was able to be part of it or, to be precise, 1/10th!

Anyway, I look forward to being part of the One Ring community from here on in.

Bye for now!

Welcome and neat Saru av. I guess that pretty much explains why Isengard is 100% complete.

Well, oddy enough I do have an unassembled Sauron model somewhere... When does that start as it looks like Gimi is still the current model?

No, it was mainly because I bought my ticket to ToS before I had a finished army, which was quite a good incentive to get an army painted and Isengard were easier to paint than Elves or Rohan! :)

Thanks for the warm welcome all
